I remain convinced that Scotland should join EFTA as soon as possible after the Restoration of Scotland's Sovereignty and Independence.
Doing so, would ensure our Scottish Nation, a faster/shorter period, entry into the Single Market.
No longer under the control of a domineering Foreign English Colonialist Establishment/Nation.
Whether or not, Scotland would later decide to join as a full EU Member, would be up to WE Sovereign Scots and NOT decided upon by any, to whom we would 'loan' positions in our ScotGov/Scottish Parliament.
EFTA would be a very exciting prospect and our nascent entry into Europe and globally, of Scotland Restored to her Rightful status.
Quite aside from the content of the article, this is a really interesting approach Callum. Once I got used to the accents it was fairly engaging , then again I could be biased.
It seems obvious to me that the sensible choice for an Independent Scotland is to join EFTA first and by doing this keep its long term options open.
