Fine comment,but a tad unfair to youth attitudes in the West to the snake-pit of resource control going on in Africa- it may be sad but true that Ukraine/Gaza are immensely easier to be binary about, as I am, but Central Africa? not so much…
How?... to my uneducated reasoning this 'protest' movement has been taken over by a very effective single issue crew who are simply anti-jew...
No mass protests on Sudan/Sinai Peninsula/Yemen/Chad/N.Nigeria... etc etc... and you cant brush this away ... or the bbc who CONTROL 70% of all broadcasts in the Uk from piss poor reporting in their so called balanced perspective from spending so much time devoted to silence on the other sect on sect issues surrounding the peaceful 'faith' ... & unfortunately I witnessed some Glasgow Uni students giving vent to this issue... BUT... I also saw what looked to me as if they didn't want to be there... it was peer pressure... I could rabbit on but whats the point as we in Scotland can change little and of all the protests held throughout the Uk in my lifetime... nothing has been achieved... no career politician has been held legally accountable...
I agree with the sentiment. We should encourage restraint. It is worth knowing though, that the Nuremberg Trial was conducted without rules of evidence, as you can see from Articles 19 and 21 of the IMT Charter. The first post-war trial with English rules of evidence was the Manstein trial, at which Labour MP Reginald Paget KC spoke for the defence.
